Gwen Cassady is a survivor leader, advocate, educator, and filmmaker whose work is informed by her lived experience as a survivor of both child sex trafficking and adult labor trafficking.
As Founder and Executive Director of Blue Mosaic, Gwen works to transform lived experience into action—advancing trafficking prevention, survivor-informed policy, education, community collaboration, and public awareness. Her advocacy has taken her from classrooms and community organizations to state and federal policymakers and the United Nations.
Gwen holds degrees from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in Global Development Practice from Harvard University. Through Trafficking Tales, she brings together survivors, advocates, experts, policymakers, educators, and community leaders to examine not only the realities of human trafficking, but the solutions that can prevent exploitation and create meaningful change.
Her belief is simple: survivors should not only be heard—they should help shape the solutions.
